Seven of Pentacles
Seven of Pentacles - Upright
- Planning, future investments, long-term plans, vision, growth, satisfaction
The Seven of Pentacles is a card of long term planning and suggests that you are now invested in the future and are beginning to plan out your long term goals so that you have a clear path to take when the time is right to move forward. You are now thinking ahead and are considering your options and how they could benefit you in the long term. You want to be successful in your life and to achieve something you can really be proud of, and in order to do this, you know you must do it the right way. You do not want to cut corners or rush things in order to get success quicker, you would rather be patient and know that you did it correctly. The Seven of Pentacles encourages you to be prepared for your future and reminds you that by planning ahead you will be more aware of what direction to take later on in life. It's also good to have long term plans because you will actually have something to work towards. The Seven of Pentacles asks you to make sure that you prioritise things accordingly and ensure that you are focusing your attention on the most important things first.
Seven of Pentacles - Reversed
- Confusion, scattered thoughts, self-doubt, lack of vision, anxiety, limited rewards
The Seven of Pentacles in reversed form suggests that you are currently confused about the direction that you are heading in and are beginning to doubt your decisions and your ability to carry them through. Your thoughts are scattered right now and so you are finding it hard to trust your own judgement on whether you're concentrating your efforts on the right thing at this time. This has caused you to feel slightly anxious and unsure if you should carry on with what you're currently doing until you can see clearer and make sense of it all. The reversed Seven of Pentacles asks that you take a step back to re-evaluate how you're investing your time (and possibly finances), and re-assess your plans and goals and work out whether they are all connected and whether it really is a great use of your time. You must also prioritise your responsibilities by working out which responsibilities will give you the best outcomes and opportunities to succeed. You can get through this rut, but it will take some hard work.
