Tarot Spreads For Beltane
It’s almost time for Beltane! Spring has finally kicked in here in the UK and it’s beautiful. It feels like forever since I last saw the sun - October in fact - but it’s here now and that’s all that matters! We now find ourselves at the half way point between the Spring Equinox and the Summer Solstice, where we celebrate nature at its peak - it is abundant with fertility and life - and also passion and sexuality in all walks of life.
Beltane is a Celtic fire festival usually celebrated on May 1st - the beginning of the Celtic summer - and is used to mark the midpoint between the Spring Equinox and the Summer Solstice. Beltane is believed to mark the beginning of the Summer season where we celebrate Spring at it’s full potential and the first hints of ever-nearing Summer.
At this time, we must take inspiration from Beltane and be grateful for our lives and the abundance that is in it. Be inspired by the divine union of the God and Goddess and welcome passion and sexual energy into your life - enjoy yourself and allow sparks to fly! Step out of your comfort zone and jump into the fire - not literally! Also remember that Beltane is much like Samhain, the veil between the living and the dead thins at this time so now is also the perfect time to reach out to your ancestors.
In celebration of this beautiful unity, I have put together a list of my favourite tarot spreads for this time of year!
